As a result of this it has several advantages over the use of conventional rails - principally it's low cost together with the speed and simplicity with which it may be laid, altered or removed.
Special electric-motor powered trains and trams have been designed to operate with the system which using a double bogie arrangement enable the cars to follow tight twists and turns so that complex layouts large or small can be created.

The two ends of the hose may be simply joined to form a continous track allowing nonstop runs of approximately an hour and a half to be achieved before the necessary replacement of the batteries which themselves are rechargeable.
