Silicon Remover
£2.88
Add to Cart
Work tools such as paint brushes etc get covered with silicon as you work with the rubber paste and must be cleaned immediately after use so the silicon does not vulcanize on the brush and make it useless.
Simply use Silicon Remover to do the chore.
Plastic mixing vessels, spoons, etc need not be cleansed.
The rubbery form skin can be peeled off these objects easily when the silicon dries.

Construction Textile

This is a highly stable, finely woven sackcloth which greedily absorbs liquid, easy to mould and is flexible.
It is used with modelling textile hardener, with which it is impregnated and modelled when still moist.
It can be tacked, nailed, screwed or glued.
Other materials used in modelling, such as polystyrene, paper, balsawood or cardboard, can then be attached.
The impregnating liquid also assists in gluing together the various elements when dry.

Crealin Light Casting Compound
£15.95
Add to Cart
This laminate powder is mixed in the ratio 4 parts Crealin and 1 part water and is then ready to use, after a short pre-swelling time of 2-3 minutes. It is suitable for the creation of landscape surfaces in modeling structures. The thixotrope (viscous) and creamy paste is applied with a palette knife or a putty knife. The material is dimensionally stable so that even sharp edged shapes can be formed.
Crealin cures completely within 65-75 minutes, without shrinking. It is further of advantage, that objects like small trees, fences etc., can be worked in the laminate compound; they will stick firmly in. Because the material is so easy to form and to model, it is also well suited for the making of collages. It also does bond very well with the Artex Modelling Tissues and is therefore preferred for the enhancement of laminated decoration objects (inflated swimming animals, bandaged with the modelling strips). All kinds of surface structures can be perfectly designed, e.g. scales, fur, feathering etc.) Crealin adheres on almost every subsurface, e.g. board, wood, metal, stone, plaster, gypsum, carton, polystyrene, solidified textile etc. Therefore this material is also used for the making of theatre sceneries. As the material has low adhesion properties and does not contain any dissolvers.
It can also bond with polystyrene or textile shapes (treated previoulsy with Textile Impregnating Hardener - Part No: AR77868); the objects need to be primed before with an adhesoin agent, e.g. Glass and Plastic Undercoating (Part No: AR71757) in a thin layer.

Flow Talcum (Form Powder)
£1.90
Add to Cart
Apply a thin coat of Flow Talcum to moulds made of silicon rubber, latex (Formulate), or Formaform and store them in an air-tight plastic bag so they do not go brittle.
Flow talcum protects moulds from drying out.
Heat resistant moulds made of Silcotin HB should be treated with Flow Talcum because it influences and supports the liquid pewter's flowability so the pewter reaches any and all fine indentures in a negative mould.
Flow Talcum has been mixed with the plant additive "lycopodium spores" which causes this unique flowability.
supports pewter flow to reach all indentures in negative moulds
