A superb model of a barrel-roof gypsy caravan not authentic but specially designed for the discerning craftsman.
Although a fair amount of work is required, this is quite straight forward, and very rewarding.
Contruction is simplified by employing a plywood base and ply end walls.
The end walls are scored to simulate planking and fluted 9.6mm x 3.2mm ramin strips are fixed over the scored face, a method which is both simple and effective.
The rear boot will accommodate a musical box movement if desired.
The final result is an extremely attractive, high quality model, capable of giving years of pleasure.
